Build a Safe Workplace

Oneness Biotech dedicates significant resources to improving the safety awareness of our employees and preventing safety incidences by identifying, assessing, control, and reduce risk factors in the workplace, as well as producing own materials for occupational injury cases to educate colleagues. According to statistics, there were no occupational accidents occurred in the workplace from 2018 to 2020.

 

In addition, the Oneness Nanchou Plant introduced the ISO45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System at the end of 2020, and obtained the certification through impartial third-party unit verification in September 2021. In the future, we will be vigilant in overseeing safety management for building a safety, healthy and sustainable workplace.


Provide a Healthy Working Environment

Oneness Biotech actively implement a smoke-free policy in the workplace to build a healthy working environment and improve productivities of employees. In 2020, the Company was awarded the Badge of Accredited Healthy Workplace by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

 

Oneness Biotech promoted the occupational safety and health-related measures in 2020, including hazard identification and risk assessment in the workplace, the establishment of an “Occupational Disaster Prevention Database,” and the promotion of the “Badge of Accredited Healthy Workplace-Oneness Biotech New Life Movement,” etc., to strengthen the management mechanism of occupational safety. In order to promote a healthy life, Oneness Biotech also offers funding subsidies to employees’ clubs.


Anti-COVID-19 Measures During the COVID-19 Epidemic

The global COVID-19 epidemic began early 2020, and the “Epidemic Response” and “Epidemic Commander Group” line groups were established with the most rigorous attitude by Oneness Biotech. Weekly response meetings are held to follow the instruction of the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). Multi-faceted epidemic prevention measures and epidemic prevention response plans have been formulated to ensure care for the physical and mental health of employees, and provide employees with a safe and secure working environment.

 

Oneness Biotech developed the following anti-COVID-19 measures and related plans:

  • Separated by division and floor, adopt AB groups and other methods to facilitate rotation of working from home.
  • Implement flexibility for all employees to work from 7:00 to 10:30 to avoid crowds.
  • Adopt video conferencing for all meetings and avoid in person activities.
  • Provide each employee with 25 masks, protective goggles and other epidemic prevention materials per month for free.
  • Establish a system to allow employees to report their daily health status and report abnormalities in the Line group immediately.
  • Provide free COVID-19 rapid test kits and free PCR testing for colleagues in need.
  • Cooperate with policies, provide unpaid family care leave and leave for self-management of health.
  • Set up hand sanitizer at all entrances and exits of the building and meeting rooms.
  • Disinfect the office on a weekly basis.

Occupational Safety and Health Education and Training

Oneness Biotech is committed to creating a “Safety First” workplace. We organize occupational safety and health training every year, and invite occupational safety and health consultants to serve as lecturers on work safety, emergency response, mechanical operations, health education and preventing disease. In addition, all of the employees responsible for environmental protection, occupational safety, fire protection and machinery operation obtain related licenses, and periodically go to external institutions for training. In 2020, occupational safety education and training reached 134 person-times.
