Oneness today (31st) announced that it has been included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for two consecutive years, which is the only biotech and pharmaceutical company in Taiwan to receive this honor.
The Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (GEI) is a modified market capitalization-weighted index developed to gauge the performance of public companies dedicated to reporting gender-related data. This reference index measures gender equality across five pillars: leadership & talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and external brand. The 2023 GEI member list includes 485 companies of 11 industry sectors in 45 countries.
Oneness constructs an equal and diverse working environment, with a 42.86% female director ratio, 62.5% female managers, and outstanding performance in other indicators such as the proportion of female senior and middle-level managers, the proportion of female engineers/R&D staff, the promotion rate of females, the proportion of female new hires, an inclusive corporate culture and sexual harassment prevention. This year's overall performance not only improved from the previous year, but also exceeded the global average score of the index. Oneness’ efforts to promote gender equality have once again been internationally recognized.
